Ethica Accessories is the new name for our Peruvian hand crafted products.

Each workshop in Peru has its own brand; in Pitumarca they brand their handcrafts “Puka Phallcha”, in Casa Betania they brand their products “Casabet”, in Tarma , their label is a hummingbird and in Cruz de Motupe they brand their products by the same name. Ethica Accessories has been created to represent these four brands in Australia, as the trading name of the Sisters of St Joseph Peruvian Project Ltd.

Purchasing a product from the Ethica Accessories range provides employment and income for hundreds of women and their families living in poverty in Peru. 100% of the profit from the sale of a product helps to fund our project.

The Ethica Accessories range includes incredibly soft alpaca hats, scarves and ponchos, a variety of bags and purses, finger puppets and children’s clothing. We recently won the Reed Australian Gift Award 2006 for “most socially responsible product” in recognition of our many products that make perfect gifts.

We are a not-for-profit organisation and member of the Fair Trade Association.
